Succeeding One of the Most Significant Metaverse Initiatives: Global Metaverse Carnival
Following the Asia Metaverse Conference 2022’s success, the Metaverse Club organized another astounding online event for gathering global Web3 companies on December 6-8: the Global Metaverse Carnival 2022. With a main focus on the English & Chinese markets, the Carnival brought together 2000+ participants from various backgrounds, including metaverse investors, brands, tech companies, blockchain gurus, opinion leaders, journalists, and many more, to discuss & evaluate the second half of 2022 in the Metaverse industry.
One of the most distinguishing features of the event was the participation form; the attendees created their avatars, walked around the Event Venue, explored the 3D expo area, and engaged with each other in a more immersive & creative way. The event, which consisted of 3 main discussion forums in total, was noteworthy in terms of networking opportunities, as industry experts from every continent of the Earth (Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, and Australia) took part & contributed to the overall discourse.
Metafluence was Represented by Our CEO & Co-Founder, Emin Vali
Metafluence has also been invited to the Carnival and represented by our Co-Founder & CEO, Emin Vali. He joined the discussions under the European Metaverse Ecosystem and Innovation (II) Panel, where the speakers highlighted a wide range of issues: the governmental policies & attitudes towards the Metaverse industry, the current status of the Metaverse infrastructure development in different European countries, potential ways for investors to leverage the Web3 & Metaverse technologies through monetizing their online presence, and more.
Emin Vali’s speech was mainly focused on several issues, such as the level of Metaverse adoption in Türkiye, the endless opportunities of the Metaverse in terms of revolutionizing the fashion industry, how the brands started to get insights and a basic understanding of the Web3 iteration, etc. He emphasized that although the overall literacy of the decision-makers in Türkiye was not at an ideal level, the business community has already started to embrace the Metaverse:
“One of my forecasts for the Metaverse’s growth in our geography is that the biggest drives will not only come from the government & centralized organizations but also from the businesses & marketing budgets.”
A Horizon-to-Horizon Attendance: Huge Global Interest towards the Carnival
The wide array of participation from significant companies, including but not limited to The Walt Disney Company, Commerzbank AG, MetaTokyo, India Blockchain Alliance, Mulana Ventures, Cointelligence Fund, Technical University of Munich, Coinstelegram, Turkish Investors Associations, Dreams Quest, and many more, indicated the strong interest towards the Carnival.
Measuring the Impacts
It was one of the rarest opportunities for both regional and global tech & Web3 well-established companies & startups, as well as for Metafluence, to assemble under the same roof, have horizon-broadening conversations about the future implementations of the Metaverse technologies, and last but not least, building abundant networks. We genuinely enjoyed our participation at the event and certainly look forward to the upcoming ones!
